Smth suspicious about this Azzaro label...

I absolutely love this silk dress, I love the colours and the quality of it. I have always assumed the label was sewn in by some "creative" seller, I just didn't care cause I bought the dress (in a thrift store) for myself.
Now it unfortunately doesn't fit me anymore, so I should really sell it. Do you agree with me that the Azzaro label isn't original to the dress? Also, do you agree to eighties on this one?

The label: sewn in at one side only, with white thread. Very suspicious form:

Agree 80s, and if it's silk jersey I wouldn't dismiss it just yet. I've not seen enough Loris Azzaro to know the line well, but it may be created for a modest, upscale customer along the lines of Leonard Paris or La Mendola. It is a beautiful print.

I'll post some pictures of the back of the label,
the thing that makes me suspicious about this label is the way it was sewn in, but most of all the pointed sides. It seems the label was just a bit bigger before, judging to the "made in France" on the right. (see picture above)

The quality of the garment makes me think it could be the real thing though, but I am not familiair with Azzaro at all.

:dogs: running around, sniffing for clues!

You're right, the label is odd in that respect. I've been looking at Azzaros on Google, and all the ones I've seen have had straight edges (as you can see this label has when you lift it up).

I haven't been able to find a picture of the Azzaro Ville label, though.
