So - I\'ve been searching...

...for cool fonts, graphics, etc to use on my website .

And I came across this site:
http://www.girlswhowearglasses.com/

This should take you right to her links pages, maybe. There are about 12 font sources links there - many free!

I have some others to share, too. Soon as I gather them all up, I'll bring 'em!

On these pages you will find freeware fonts - many retro & unique ones. There are also great links to graphics, trialware software (like photoshop!), etc. I pretty much spent the morning surfing thru all of these.

I still can't find the art I want, tho...dang it! I wish I knew graphic arts & I'd draw it myself. But maybe I can find a local college student to do it...

Anyway - hope this is useful to some of you!

Thanks, Leisa!

Now how do you download fonts and then how do you use them? :BAGUSE:

Hi Linda - you need winzip, which you can get as trialware from windows if you don't already have it on your pc.

You follow the directions on the webpage where the fonts are - usually it'll have a box or line to click for the DL. Then you save that file somewhere other than Windows: fonts. I save mine in My Documents first.

Then you open winzip, go to "open", go to the font you want to extract & click on it. It will show up in the winzip "box." Click on extract, & be sure to open My computer/C/Windows/fonts.
Then click OK! It'll be added to your fonts, so you can use it on your webpages, emails, whatever.

Any more questions - just ask me!
