So what\'s on your (vintage!) christmas list?

Hello! I have finally got ten minutes (literally) to post, and just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas/happy holidays. It's all a bit busy here but now school's finished I can hopefully calm down a bit.

So now I am thinking about pressies, hoping everyone likes what i've got for them! I wondered what was on your christmas list this year (or if you don't celebrate it just your general want list!), and if you've requested anything vintage or vintage related?

I've hinted heavily for dorothy o'hara dresses (a gal can wish!), corduroy, reference material (50's catalogues mainly!), and a pair of emerald green velvet flares - as I've ripped the rear out of mine, lol!

You never know! . Anyone else?

I was really shocked, surprised and befuddled today.

My husband came home with a vintage cashmere coat for me. Don't know how he managed that....but it happened.

Well..we weren't exchanging gifts and going to just use the money to do something fun..so it was from our dogs..

My dogs didn't get me anything unless you count the plopper Alfie left on the floor yesterday. :hysterical:

I bought my own Vintage present - a 1920s linen hiking ensemble, with vest and knickers.

yes i must have words with jumble, he appears to have forgotten mine too!

good old husband managed to buy me a dorothy o hara that i hadn't even found on ebay, and my mum got me an edwardian silver name brooch which is something i'd wanted for ages but weirdly never came across any harriets!

so a good christmas. and now to make some money to pay for it.. time to start selling again i think!
