I have a soldered mesh bag with the initials M F C and and a symbol to the right on the inside top. Where was this made and around what year please?

here are search results for mesh purse here on our forums. :)

many mesh purses are from the 1920s, 30s. we've had some that were made in Germany, but they were typically marked on the frame as such. love the blue!
 
Get the loupe out and look EVERYWHERE along the frame for a makers mark. Many of these were make in Germany. Some were made in the US, and some of those were made for high end stores like Tiffany.

I had one for years that turned out to be the latter and it sold for $1200. Just gotta look really hard.

The Tiffany one I had dated to early 20s and the stamp was to the side of the kiss lock.

I had one for years that turned out to be the latter and it sold for $1200. Just gotta look for the marks and research like a deamon. Mine had the makers mark that told me it was made in New Jersey by a renowned silversmith of the day AND Tiffany & Co.

It dated to early 20s.

Does this mark look familiar? That is the only marks on the bag. I looked around the kiss lock and there is nothing. Thank you!
