Hello! I picked this up at the thrift store and find myself trying to date it earlier despite some pretty obvious clues. 70s does 30s?

Hem

Zipper (and hook and eye closure)

I'm not very good at analyzing fabric but my mom said it was rayon, maybe nylon.

It has its original long hem. (I'm 5'4" and it's practically to the ground).

I love this dress! The red bows on the shoulders are actually attached with a safety pin, I noticed that trying it on.

yes, it's a 70's maxi and it looks like polyester from here.

I don't have one at the moment, but like F_E_R_R it's just a maxi. Beneath the empire waist it just flows to til it hits the ground.
