some bits from my haul any ideas on these labels and dates..

also i got a lovely 1950's ? liberty coat..

oh my!! l'm tempted by all three, especially the dress and liberty coat..is the coat large also?? and what ae you gonna do with them.....
l would bid on that dress, le tme know if you list it or what!! thanks..
the coat looks to me by the large collar and cuffs to be '58-'63, my mum wears a similar one is my baby pics,

the knitted coat not sure but would guess 60s (courreges /patou feel, but with the thick ridges, the detail) latish- madeliene would be from the ''Madeliene a large corinthiian or perhaps doric pillared building in the 'place de la madeliene' Paris, but of course that iconic building wouldnt be universally as well known as the tour de eiffel!!!

and the dress is divina as l have stated, three times!! ymmy!!

here is the other coat that i tried to post but went a bit pear shaped ..lol...

sara.. they will be for sale on ebay in the near future, and yes the liberty coat and the madaliene knitted coat is on the larger side....

the lady must have loved her coats as there is quite a few including a black velvet 'swing style coat...

and there a few 'evening' dressings which have some lovely beaded detail..... i wish you lived closer as you could have come over and had a good romage through...lol.....

The liberty coat is a fab find! I think Koupy models are fairly good quality - listed under the Fashion Designers (London - as opposed to 'provincial' lol) section in the 1966 'Fabric and Clothing Trades Index' alongside more familiar names.
