Please admins, can you clarify - is that selling links?

I'm only asking because I've posted links to pictures, and non-retail websites such as museums or blogs, before and I don't want to break the rules either!

I think the problem here is that it becomes a fine line when it's a link to a site that sells vintage - even if it's not the personal site of the poster.
Otherwise, it becomes a very grey area where people can post links to their friends non-VFG member selling sites.
Although we know that Leisa, for instance, isn't that kind of person - it makes too much of a fuzzy area in terms of rules - so we have to draw the line at no non-members posting links to any vintage selling site.

Museums are definitely ok - blogs may be a grey area now and then if the blog owner is also a non-VFG member vintage seller - then it could be seen as advertising for that seller.

For what it's worth, though, I find that the web site Leisa posted has some of THE worst dating I've ever seen on a public website! A few months back they sold a turn of the century beaded purse as 1960's. Now I hate to think of that poor, rare purse in the hands of some trendy little gal who doesn't respect it for what it is!! :barf:

I thought I <U>was</U> familiar with the rules - I just totally spaced that bit out.

Plus, maybe I thought it only meant links to my own items / store.
I don't freakin' know what I was thinking, to be honest.

Kristine - I didn't even look at the dates. I was too interested in the pretty pictures. LOL!
