Actually, I'm assuming it's a bed jacket based on the colour but I could be wrong - it's rather long, for starters.

I think it's a suit jacket but I'm not sure of the age. I think it would have had a matching short skirt.

Linn: 'Popcorn chenille' is a wonderful name! I do wonder if the buyer would know what on earth I was talking about though!
Nicole it's very hard to tell if it's knitted or woven, certainly manufactured and I think I would go for woven. It's very thin and lighter than cotton so I imagined it over a dress or blouse I suppose.

I was seeing it as heavier - but maybe if it's a jacket, the skirt would have been lined. It's aways a bit difficult from a photo. I can picture it worn with a shell and a matching short straight skirt.
