Did Lillian Schuman have any larger role/influence in Lilli Ann aside from being the namesake of her husband's company? Or was she more of a muse?

Not answering your question but going off on another tangent - when Max Mara set up manufacturing in Italy after the war, it was apparently a Lilli Ann coat that served as a model for early products...

That's interesting Lin. So Lilli Ann was more noticed internationally than the smaller scale maker that we thought of it as compared to the biggies.
