Sporting dress- qiana

I have beautiful flower pattern dress, no sleeves,with collar, tight bodice with buttons, and flare skirt with pockets and underskirt, knee lenght.It has zipper on the back.It has label: Sporting dress and it has Qiana label (on front of the label it is name Qiana and 100% polyamid, on the back Qiana von Du Pont, Du Pont in circle and in German Besser dinge fur Eines besseres Leben).
There was at least one more label, which i believe was part of first Sporting dress label, but it is cut out :(
I know qiana is material and introduced in 1968, but i have never seen such a full label of it on the garment, usually it is just written on designers label.
Does all this sound familiar to anyone? Whose dress this may be?

Besser dinge fur Eines besseres Leben = better thing for your best life? Lemme see how Google Translate compares with my single semester of German and mediocre Yiddish ; ) -- "One of better things for better living." No clue why it says "One of." Guess this is the German version of "Better Living Through Chemistry."

I would say "Sporting Dress" was the manufacturer, and Qiana was a name for this particular fabric, which was a type of nylon. Wikipedia has some info on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qiana
Looking through old 1960s and 70 Burda sewing magazines from Germany, I always find tons of advertisements for these synthetic fabric with outlandish names and claims to how modern, easy to wash, easy to wear etc. etc. they were.

Liza, you were almost there with the translation of the slogan :) - it means "Better things for a better life".
