Howdy all! Question for ya.....

I have got a beaded sweater and it is great, it is virgin wool, pretty coral color with pearly beads.

Here is the problem, it came with a matching skirt, and the skirt has what looks like grease stains on it. Should I try to spot clean and sell together or should I just ditch the skirt and sell the beade sweater?

How do you spot clean virgin wool?

I have no idea but I am keeping this bumped up for you. Whatever you do won't hurt if you are thinking about scrapping skirt anyway. I would suggest the spot cleaner in Dryel but I tried that once with horrible results.

I'm not sure how it will work on wool, buuuut...I've had very good results getting out cooking grease/oil with regular dishwashing detergent. I've used it on other fabrics without a problem, and since you're thinking of scrapping the skirt, you might go ahead and give it a try.

I've had some success with the dryel spot cleaner and wool.

You could list the sweater + bonus (skirt), and mention that
you don't have a trustworthy cleaner and are including the skirt, however
no guarantees that the spots will come out.
