Spring 2009 Returns to the 90's

Oh wow.
I actually bought a very cool oversized printed blazer because I suspected this trend would come to be -- but no one has ever LOOKED at it.
Makes me think I need to do trendsetting stuff on eBay and beat the curve. Heh.
I'd probably fail miserably!

thanks for the link!

I was chatting to a fellow vintie the other day and she mentioned that she can't get enough of those '90s floral sundresses, the ones based on styles from the '30s and '40s. Are they vintage though?

I would never classify this as vintage.

I wouldn't say never. Just ten years ago when I started selling people were saying the same thing about 80's fashions.

Those early 90's looks are DEFINITELY popping up over here in Brooklyn. I've already started buying some 90s stuff and with this I'm going to start buying more. 70s and 80s stuff is my bread and butter on Etsy. I will gladly start selling 90s - it was almost twenty years ago...

80s and 90s tailoring is back in a big way..

in spring/summer; balmain and alexander wang for 80s
jil sander, calvin klein for 90s

but the best way is to go vintage!!!:excited:
