Still going on about banners :-) Which one do yall like best?

I am working on a website overhaul, woohooo. I get bored easy and I had a wonderful lady on etsy make me banners for just $2 a piece. For that price I had her make me a few that I can change out or use as headings or whatever on my web. I wanted to share them with everyone here and see which ones yall liked the best.... Thanks!

Thanks everyone... Thats why I just go back to old school paint! haha. One is an update to my first banner and 3 new ones. 2 are just text variations to get it to show better, I tend to like these more.

aww thats sad.. they are omming up on my browser are you using firefox?

I am internet explorer 7
I will upload them to flickr tnx for letting me know!

Those frowny faces are kinda cute. The spray-painted look makes them cool, too.

Poor frowny faces. :(:(

I hope you get your link issues corrected.

Perhaps add a space or two between each banner. They are hard to judge when they are so close together. My eyes need some white space, so to speak. My split second reaction was that #3 and #4 are too busy. The 5th one attracted my eyes first. The last one is neat with the drop shadow, but timeless beauty is going to be impossible to read if you have to shrink it. I think that to use that one, you'd have to town down and make the lavendar a bit deeper. The drop shadow isn't as "vintagey". Anyway, the first one is cute, but the background I think is competing. On second look, I liked it a better - but I think the other banners are fighting it right now/

Anyway - I guess overall - the 5th one to me is the easiest to read and the color balance is easiest on the eyes. But are you missing out on an opportunity to show different things? When I see two poses of the same gal my mind automatically things its a banner for retro modeling, etc. unless the clothing is radically different. (it makes me think you are the timeless beauty advertised vs the clothes. not to say you aren't, but you know what I mean). It does work overall though I would say. I am using Firefox, but it looks good on my other browser - Safari too. Have not checked in Opera.

Hope that's not too blunt :(

No I am a blunt lover, have you met mother?!? lol

Thats why I put them here to get some feedback, as you know personally everyone is bias so I want some initial reactions.

Thank you all so much

Just wondering though... one pose? I understand what you mean about the timeless beauty part but don't understand the question?
"But are you missing out on an opportunity to show different things?"
as in??? sorry,, im tired and not following the question. I don't have much that fits me right now if thats what you mean and the only model I have are my and my mannequin! lol perhaps I should put one of my prettiest dresses on the mannequin ip there? ohhhh thats a neat idea! I just like the personality of a "pinup" look!

I like the first one the best, too - but I love the photos of you in #4 & 5. What does not work IMHO is the contrast between the font and the background in all but the first one but I do like the pose on the left in the last two.

The other photo will make a great Avatar when you are ready to change from Christmas!

Got to say that all those pictures of you are great, Jennifer!

But I'll add my vote for the first banner. My reasons are that it is clearly readable and not too 'busy,' and the photograph is more integrated with the background.

The main thing with all of them is that the background has a curvy pattern and your font is rather curvy, so all appear somewhat busy, some more so than others.

I like the first one, but it would be easier on the eyes if the background was lightened a bit or made more opaque.

I don't like the white outlining on the drop-shadowed text.
