Strange things found in pockets

I just found an old dog biscuit in the pocket of a 50's dress I was photographing and thought it might be fun to compare notes. What's the strangest thing you ever found in a pocket?

I bought a dress once that had 26 one dollar bills folded and wrapped with a rubberband in the front pocket. The bills were all dated 1963.
Other than that mostly kleenex, toothpicks & change.
Cat :D

I found a toothpick, a peppermint candy, a jar lid and some change.

My grandmother wasn't afraid to use the pockets!!! :USING:

1) A 1971 opera theater/symphony ticket that helped date a cute go-go purse.

2) Two programs from funeral services in the same suit pocket...one from 1963 and one from 1980. Guess he was the type to have "just one good suit for weddings and funerals"

Bumping this up cause it is such a neat topic :)

I found a small old key in a pocket of a 40s jacket once. Still have it
and fantasize that it is to a safety deposit box full of treasures!

There are no markings of any kind on the key and it is probably for
a no longer with us piece of luggage.

Oh, I did once find a little sachet sewn inside a wedding gown with a penny inside. It was a '47 (I think) wheat penny. It was so sweet, sorta made me sad that it ended up in my inventory instead of a family collection, but I guess not everyone is into clothes....although I don't know why.

Haven't found anything too unusual in a pocket, mostly gum wrappers, paper receipts, shopping lists, etc. But have found that with vintage coats, if there's a button missing when you find it on a rack or at a yard sale, chances are it's in a pocket. I've been able to "make whole" at least 5 or 6 coats recently by checking in the pocket & finding the button....
