I have a very distressed, very cool, vintage motorcycle
jacket that has stuck wrist and pocket zippers.

I've checked the surrounding teeth and fabric and can't see
any problems that may be causing these stubborn zips to
not move.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to unstick them? It is like they have been in one position so long that they have developed arthritis of the teeth.

I wonder if you could take a q-tip and put vaseline on them or WD-40. Most of the time I use a bar of soap when the zipper is open.

Two pairs of pliers. Grab the zipper teeth with one right below where the slide is stuck. Grab the zipper pull with the other and gently pull. The pliers can grab on stronger than your fingers can. This has worked several times for me.

a tiny bit of machine oil has been known to help, too. And once it is moveable, some zip ease.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I tried everything - candle wax,
WD-40, sewing machine oil, two pliers, graphite pencil, vaseline - and those zips do not want to budge! I'm going to have to list it as is and
hope that there is skinny fella out there with small hands.
