I first thought these were 80's "doing retro," as the low platforms and the piping on these look very much like some shoes I've seen from the 40's. However the Hill and Dale logo appears to be older than the 80's logo I've seen on their shoes, and they have handwritten size & style numbers. And I am stumped on the heel style. Could these be, like, original 60s or 70s? They are in near-mint condition, so I can't see them being that old. Could they be 90s? I'm lost on these. Oh, and they are all leather, including sole & lining, and ithe outers are the most luxurious brushed "sueded" leather, like velvet. Just beautiful, but I don't know what to say about 'em. Have them on eBay now, but I'm afraid my dating is too vague to be of much use!
