Subject: Help Identifying Rare Betty Boop Grey Cardigan by King Features Syndicate

Hi everyone!

I’m reaching out to see if anyone can help me identify and learn more about a Betty Boop cardigan that I haven’t been able to find anywhere online. Here are some details:

  • Color: Grey
  • Branding: The tag says “King Features Syndicate,” indicating it’s an officially licensed Betty Boop product. (2012)
  • Condition: It’s in good shape overall, though the sleeves are a bit grubby from storage (just gave it a wash, hoping there are no stains).
  • Design: It’s an open-front cardigan, lightweight, and has a simple but elegant look with no visible Betty Boop imagery on the front.
I’m wondering if this might be a rare or limited-edition piece since I haven’t seen any similar listings or references on sites like eBay, Depop, or Etsy. I’d appreciate any insights on its origins, possible value, or tips on where else I could research.

Thank you so much for any guidance you can offer!

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve attached some images in this reply showing the front, back, and tag details. I also checked the GEM website as recommended, but unfortunately, I still haven’t found anything similar.

If anyone has further insights on this item or knows more about Betty Boop pieces by King Features Syndicate, I’d really appreciate the help!
