My Dad bought my Mother this purse @ 1960 (?) from Paris. There are no tags, other than "Made in France." It meant a great deal to her, but all I have done is display it and it's getting pretty tired looking. (I have wood heat). The material is silk. I have heard of sequins melting when they get wet. ????? Also there is a little verdigris around the frame.
