Suggestions for finding buyers for or selling vintage clothing

Hello,
I have quite a large number of clothing items (dresses, blouses, suits, shoes, purses, and skirts) from my Nana and would like to find the best way to sell and/or consign items for sale.

I have a list and photos of most items but just learned about the need for a picture of the label. Can anyone point me in the right direction? This has been a long exhausting process and I wish I had known about VFG before starting.

(Example of brands include Lilli Ann, St. John, Adolfo, Saks, Ann Taylor, Ferragamo, Judith Lieber purses and more...)

Thank you,
DrSister

ps i don't know how to date the items.

Hi and welcome.:hiya:
What state are you located in? Maybe one of our members would be interested in taking a look at your stock.

I get a lot on inquiries about buying or consigning through my site, you may look around at websites and find contact info for sellers that way. Most sites have contact info handy on the front page.

I called my grandma Nana, too (thats the Dorothea my business is names after!). Sorry for your loss and good luck!

Hello :)
I am located in Long Beach. We don't do consignment (its a nightmare of paperwork & liability!) But we do buy - often we can buy entire collections.
I'm currently on my blackberry, but when I get to my computer I will send you a private u2u message.
