Oh, I quite like this dress. There is "something" about it!
I do apoligized for an unsteamed shot just wanted to get this pic out and see what people know about this label. Tis a tad torn but it says Party Lines By Domb Made In California...
I don't think I have ever seen a floor length or the bust treatment on a domb before... not sure about the yellowness of it...
Older looking side metal zipper (looks a bit like the kind that come on the neck of early 40s gowns but I don't think Domb was around then)

Would love some imput on this baby..

How would you market this?

Michelle, Angel would be best to give you info on this, as she knows a lot about Emma Domb. However, I am pretty sure
that the Party Lines label is the earliest, and it was around in the late 40s anyway.

Angel used to collect the 'Party Line' label don't know if she still does.

I think your dress could very well be 40s! Perfect sunshine daffodil yellow!

Not sure if we have the Party Line label by Domb on the
resource pages...if not, would you mind sticking it on Lizzie's post?

Sue:)

Wow! My first thoughts were "daffodil" and "southern belle," too. I can't wait to hear from Angel! How potentially-PERFECTLY Gone with the Wind!

Hey, thanks guys. I was thinking it has a "Gone With The Wind" kind of feel to it... Goodie! Nice to see it might be a collectable label! The fabric is stumping me I THINK it may be silk. Have to do a burn test on it. I will pop a label picture on the thread when I take a better picture. I am going to try to steam it and get a bit more of it for the listing.

Should be interesting writing this up!
