Super sunny citrus print cotton bandeau sun top? 60's?

This print is so fresh, I love it. The RN# on the (only) tag led me to the Fred Engelman Company, but I haven't found anything substantive to help me date this sweetie. The front buttons up, the back is elasticized, and the cups are that classic pointy shape. Also, would this be called a sun top, or should I stick with bandeau? Thanks!

Gosh that's nice! I wouldn't be sure myself on that one date wise, though I suspect you are in the right area.

The RN number dating formula, (which gives an approximate registration date for the number), comes up with 1962, so it probably couldn't be much earlier than that. However that formula is very approximate, and only tells us the earliest it could be, it could still be decades later.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along an opinion.

I would call it both bandeau and sun top if I were listing it.

Can you show the inside of the back strap?
I would have thought this was a bikini top, and once had matching bottoms. I would also think it was 1960's.
