Superfit by Superior Slip

Hello all, this is my first post. I have a full slip made by Superior and the label says Superfit Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. but when I search the patent database, I can't find this at all. To be honest, I don't fully understand that search and I've read FAQs! :(

The label also has the size 34 in a circle, and it says Acetate and Nylon (no %). That is all the writing on it. Can anyone help me date this piece based on the label? My camera is broken. The slip has pinked seams and adjustable metal straps. Big 5" lace edged accordion organza(?) hem at the bottom with the same materials making up the cups. Also, it is RED! Thank you for any help in advance.

With metal slides I'd date it to late 50s...could get into early 60s but the hemlines started to shorten a bit then and I haven't seen that generous, wide ruffle very far into 60s pieces. Most 60s slips I find have plastic slides too. Dating slips is hard! Sounds like a good one w/ the chiffon pleating and the RED!

I agree with late 50s because of the acetate, metal slides and the wide accordian hem.

I agree with 50s as well, mostly because of that acccordian ruffle--you don't get them much after the late 50s, but you will find metal slides into the 60s.
