It's always the simplest things that give me trouble.
Anyone have a date opinion on this sweater? It's by Carol Brent, has some light serging on the arm to body seam, and vertical button holes. Other than that it says nothing to me.

Geez...

Does the "look" of the label give you any clue whatsoever?
With me the trouble is that it is such a classic style , it doesn't "scream" either. I will have to come back to this one. The color is saying later to me, but that is only for this very moment.

Hey!! I think I need new glasses...didn't see this RN number until I blew the tag pic up on screen. There's a Registered mark, too. Hmm. I'm blind.

It's a woven tag, which may tell us something.
I dunno. Anyone know when Carol Brent did her thing? Wasn't it a Sears label?

Orlon Acrylic in my experience anyways was pretty popular in the 60s. To me i would lean closer to the 60s as far as the look of the label, etc

I would wait for someone else because i am a bit tenuous, but that is my gut reaction.

This looks so 60's to me. Turquoise/aqua was popular in the early part of the decade I think. And the label just looks 60's to me. Most of the Carol Brent labels I've seen have been from 60's garments. And yes, acrylic was a very common fabric for easy care sweaters in the 60s.
