sweater help!

I picked up this cozy sweater at the thrift yesterday. At first I thought 1980s, but the tag doesn't look 80s to me- any thoughts? Maybe early 80s? I'm not sure if it's meant to be a men's sweater but shoulder seam to shoulder seam measures 24" which seems quite large and makes the sleeves look dolman-y. It's 100% acrylic.

Looks 80s to me, and so does the label. I remember having a sweater much like this, probably mid to late 80s, with the wide slouchy shoulders.
