I bought this because I loved the shape, but I'm rather regretting it as it's in terrible condition. But I'd like to try and at least get my money back (with full disclosure of course)
Can anyone tell me when it's from? To my inexperienced eye, it can't be newer than 30's. It has these metal (brass?) tips to the rope ties. The lining appears to be silk crepe, handstitched in to a black linen like edging, just visible in places, and it's interlined in what looks like a woven wool. I think it's rabbit though I'm no fur expert, it's very fluffy and quite short.
Apologies for quick pix - I'm going to try and sell it at a market first so haven't taken proper photos.
