I think the fur is fox and the date is 60s. I love the way the collar can work in so many ways. So, how would you describe the fabric?

Linda, I checked my "All about Wool" book, but there is nothing like it. It's a GORGEOUS coat!

It looks like a mohair/wool blend to me. And the fur is definitely fox.

I was thinking fox but then it had different colors which got me confused.

Isn't that the most unusual fabric and color? I will boucle it, then.

yes, i was going to say mohair also, and since i have been doing so much investigationg on furs lately, I can agree with your guess at fox!
