I'm slowly but surely studying and learning about Vintage/antique & Costume Jewelry. I'm obsessed with Czechoslovakian glass & bohemian glass pre 40s. I have minimal jewelry books to read and refer to and want to purchase more for study & reference. What Books have been helpful to you? I'm more interested in the info & history rather than a value cost of the item. Any Jewelry Buffs have advice? Pooh- I'll even take novice advice!! I want the most info for my $!
Thanks!!:kiss2:

I think one of the best books on this subject is "Baubles, Buttons and Beads - The Heritage of Bohemia" by Sibylle Jagstorf. I believe it's available on amazon.com. There is also a pretty good section on Czech jewelry in Roseanne Ettinger's "Popular Jewelry - 1840-1940." I agree with Carrie about Ginger's book and Jewel Chat is a fantastic online reference.
