Just a wee bump as I have tried to email her 3 times & I keep thinking I'm not being professional enough. I want to tell her she's got nerve, but I guess I won't. And - I am a bit paranoid about breaking the customs laws. But only because she asked me to. LOL

Hi & Thanks for winning these two fab jackets. On the USPS website, it appears that the shipping willbe about $35.00. I think that sounds high, & I can't seem to get the standard flat rate, so when I go to the P.O. on Tuesday, I will find out from them the exact cost. I will let you know sometime Tuesday afternoon & if you paypal us right away, we will ship the following day. Thursday at the very latest.
Thanks very much & we apologize for the delay. We're just trying to get you the best deal on postage that we can.
Regards,

Is it me - or does she have a lot of cheek for telling me how freakin much $ to mark on the customs form?
Ordinarily, I would send it either as a gift or as a cheap purchase, but her email kinda ticked me off.

Hey! At least I came here before I wrote her a scorcher. :USEROCKY:

what say y'all?

Leisa - The customs duty can be stiff for some foreign buyers ...and "sometimes" I will bend a little to help out a "steady" buyer. That 40 figure gets her under the 50 value mark which starts costing $$$.

Be sure to mark as "used". Make sure inside invoice is "correct" value.

It's really not that uncommon for Intr. buyers to ask this. But you must do what is comfortable for you!! You are responsible!

hi Leisa
I must admit I will ask seller "can you please mark gift if possible", and I do likewise for my customers as duties can be prohibitive. However if you do not feel like doing this you could put that you will not alter customs declarations on your listings.

Leisa,
I wouldn't even respond to her request.
I have ignored requests for me to break our laws. I do mark the item as used clothing, however, and note the selling amount.

Hugs,
Bren
