I thought this was funny..."for females." Sounds like a livestock classification. ")

I was thinking 70s actually on it...but am not quite sure, really. It may be earlier/later Size is chest size, not modern number size. Some western wear is hard to pinpoint as it was sold for utilitarian too. The showy costumes sometimes are easier to date, and some motifs don't change. I think its darn cute, no matter what it is.

There is a Wrangler website with history, but it doesn't work with my program

Looks 70's to me, Chris.

I generally don't like tiny floral prints... but the smiley pockets & western cut make this one very cute!

Hi Chris,

That's late 70s. Prior to the late 70s Wrangler pretty much kept to stripes, solid and plaids. Also it wasn't until the late 70s that they started using something other than a single point flap pocket. I would mention in your description that the shirt has an extra fancy yoke as Wrangler traditionally also stayed away from fancy yokes until the late 70s.

It's real cute!

Thanks Females LOL
I appreciate that!

By the way, those arrows are not pockets. After the mention, I carefully inspected them again, but they are just two lines of piping.

Kristine, I was thinking the same thing. I am not the type who likes sweet little flowers when i wear something. They have to be an odd shocking color or have a graphic quality to them or i stick with geometric most of the time...but i thought this was very cool.

Maureen..thanks for all the stats! Maybe its jumping on the bandwagon of the mainstream wanting the urban cowboy/gal look too or was that actually 1980, i don't remember but i thought it was late late 70s after the Saturday Night Fever thing died down a bit. I noticed that I don't think we have em in the label resource either. I think i will pop it on the thread for Lizzie.
