the \"superfluous pocket\"

I don't have a paper or a specific ad in front of me but i have noticed the "superfluous pocket" or more properly the false watch pocket appearing in a few men's overcoats again - the type you find in very late 60s/70s sport coats, etc.

I guess that is no profound statement but i sat there and said "hey - there's that pocket again". I want to say it was a brooks brothers coat with a hidden button placket but my short term memory is foggy....

I've noticed cuffed pantlegs more lately...don't go feeling about in strange men's pockets though.

The only thing i ever found in a jacket was a "program" from a funeral.

maybe 3 button slim cut poly suits will sell just because of it.
