If you read Carol at Dandelion Vintage's great blog, Life of a Jersey Girl, you might remember that I won this book from her a few weeks ago. Well, I've read it, and I've just got to pass it along to another vintage-loving reader.

It's the story of Lizzie Nichols, a young woman with a big problem - she thinks it, she says it. She's just finished her "History of Fashion" degree, or so she thought. She neglected to write her senior thesis. So, she's off to the UK to see a boyfriend she knew all of 24 hours, and somehow she has to get that paper written. But things don't go quite as planned...

It's a great book, light and funny, about Lizzie who is the assistant manager at the local vintage store, and who is vintage obsessed. One of the best parts of the story is where she attempts to salvage a couture Givenchy gown she found in an attic in France.

So, if you'd like a chance to win this once-read (by me) book, go to http://fuzzylizzie.bravejournal.com/ and follow the directions. I'll do the drawing this Thursday, June 7th. Good luck!

And check out Carol's blog for more about the book and for an interview with the author!

Louise Kolbeinsen! Thanks to Louise and to all of you who entered the drawing. I was actually shocked by all the response, mainly because I was beginning to doubt if anyone was actually reading my journal.

Louise is a longtime friend of VFG and fuzzylizzie customer, and I hope she enjoys the book as much as I did!
