    Cool article from Ars Technica on reconstructed 3,000 year old pants worn by a Chinese warrior who fought on horseback.

    That's so interesting. Riding pants today still need the same kind of technology, stretchy in some places and sturdier in others (like the knees, just like these ancient pants). I just coincidentally found some yesterday in the Goodwill that were a perfect fit for $9. Things haven't changed much in 3000 years except now we have technology like stretchy fabrics.
