Thanks!

Specifically, tabby cat fur.:duh: LOL

Thanks, Jonathan!

Thanks, Sue, I just looked and mink capes are in for Fall! Whew! I always worry that fur will not be worn but it always comes back.

Mink (fur shure!)

LOL, Carolyn.

I sold my blonde mink coat a couple of years ago which I had purchased on Ebay. Sort of wished I hadn't. Anyway, I have placed this one in my Ebay store at a high price until Fall.

Mink, definitely! Love the tabby coat fur-does your cat like to sleep on fur? I have some furs that I will be listing and my cats think the furs are kitty beds. My silver tabby, in particular, is very fond of sleeping on fur.

I have a stole almost identical to the one you have pictured. I found a picture of the stole style in both a 40s Sears catalogue and also a 50s catalogue. Hope that helps for dating-

What a beauty (both cat and stole!)

My grandad used to breed mink for a living so I've seen quite a lot of them -and from the pictures I'd definitely say mink. As far as the period goes it looks a lot like the ones my grandmom had made in the early 50's, but I could be wrong on that last part.

If I hadn't already got quite a bunch I might consider stopping by to have a closer look at this one in your eBay store :)
