The first one is a multi color leather drawstring bag. What would you call it?

It's made in Italy. Need to tak e a clearer pic.

Next one is a black straw one. It has a little silver sticky label that is half torn off. Couldn't get a good picture of it. All I can read is "Styled by Forst and Made In"..rest is torn off. Could it be Forstman? Black vinyl inside. Soft sided but has cardboard in sides.

Any help would be appreciated.:)

The straw one could be anytime. (?) the handles are probably meant to be carried crisscrossed and makes more sense carried in the hand like a handlev ersus over the arm like a strap?? or it is a mix up. I like that the handles are leather versus straw.

As far as the black one, i believe its the "80s with a nod to the 50s" situation. That bamboo handle cropped up a few times during the 80s - as well of course earlier in the 50s.

The first bag reminds me of the "united colors of benetton" ads that were around in the 80s, etc. - the colors...not the bag...

I don't believe the black straw one is 80s. I just have a feeling by holding it that it is older. I wish I could get a better pic of half that label. It is older, too.

Isn't that crazy on those handles on the Mexican one? I mean you can carry it, but it is just odd.

Have no idea on the multi color one, but it is a nice leather bag. Would it be a hobo bag? Anyone else think 80s?

It could very well be 70s as well..i just have no clue about the leather bag the label looks too new to me to be 60s..and i usually associate that style with 70s-80s. It is a neat bag, i agree!

the handles are weird on the straw one but the fact that the handles are leather is going to make it appeal over straw.

I guess we'll have to wait until one of the experts comes along to tell us about the black bag then. someone else should surely know

Thanks, Chris. They are up for 3 days only! Didn't know what to do about running into the 4th Holiday weekend.
