Hi there, pretty. I am unable to fully assess what the fabric content is however the sleeves are an acrylic or acrylic blend intended to create the appearance of chinchilla fur, but are faux. I think that the lining is likely an acetate/polyester blend or similar and even though there are no labels I believe this coat to be at earliest y2k, maybe modern.

It's hard to tell from the photos if there are any pockets, but if so, be sure to check inside for hidden labels too.

I would suspect this was made outside of the US. When entering the US textiles need to be declared however care labels or maker labels do not have to be attached.
When textiles are sold within US labeling is supposed to be present.
If you ever purchase clothing from Amazon, shoes, or outerwear you may find no label attached at all. Markings or labeling can also be present between the fabric of the garment and the lining.
Real fur coats are often custom made for the wearer and when they are labeling may not be present.
Those crafting faux furs hope to make them appear as close as to being real as possible so they would like to not have to label them if they didn’t have to.

Thanks so much!! I did find these tags inside coat.
That's a gorgeous coat!

It looks like it could be 40s. But it also looks like it could be 80s.

Are the sleeves faux fur?

Here is something else interesting I just went and checked there’s no tags in the lining. I turned the sleeves inside out no tags on the sleeves, but I found on the inside lining these two straps sewn in to the right side.. they are not long enough to go around my body. It looks like they are there to tie something into the coat.????

Hi again, I assumed the fur was fake because I’ve never felt or had anything with real fur before, but after finding that label that says clean by fur method, could it be real???
A lot of faux fur pieces also require the same cleaning methods to preserve and protect it from being damaged. Additionally, the "do not press or steam" is definitely a faux fur thing as it will melt. You can actually steam real fur.

Awesome!! I just looked up what a chinchilla was and it made me kind of sad I only paid $10 for the coat at my thrift store. I bought it for myself to wear to nice dinners in Ohio winters.

Yes, my apologies, and all of what Jolene said. Having the union label present means that the garment was made prior to 1995 and that it was made in the United States.
The inside belt would tie across the front keep the coat in place.
