Recently I wandered into a large shopping mall. I tend to prefer to hang out in vintage clothing shops.
I was amazed how much the current clothing reflects the 1960s and 1970s.
I have a Lila Bath jacket and found an almost identical one in a high fashion shop.
This was in Texas. Lace, lace and more lace.
Made me start to wonder if same all over USA?
Different chain shops of course but do they mostly shop at same clothing markets and what exactly drives fashion? Just curious really.
One reason I wonder is IMHO the original should cost more.
I am glad to see designers are looking back at traditional fashions though.
Perhaps classics are the best way to go?
