Hi Everyone,

I found this LOVELY dress a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the label is gone. It has a great buckle in the front of two dragons. Im thinking this is late 60s. It reminds me of a Paganne style dress.

Also, here is a gorgeous coat that I have. Thinking 50s on this one? It is almost perfect. Just the National Recovery label inside. The only flaw is some yellowing on the outside of the collar. Im scared to take it to the cleaners. Any tips on getting the yellow out? Its so beautiful. Its fitted with rhinestones at the sleeves, and a rhinestone brooch on the collar. :-) thx

The dress looks very late '60's or very early '70's. The coat is either late '50's or early '60's. I thought it was '50's when I saw it before but I'm leaning a bit more to the '60's.

If you take it to the cleaners take the brooch and the buttons off, fist. I don't know how else to clean it - but maybe someone else will have an idea.

If the coat is just straightforward wool or a wool blend, it is probably very safe to take to the cleaners with the buttons removed as Linn suggested. I have had wool suits as old as 1940s come out beautifully.
