Tip Top women's coat - any ideas?

Hi. Does anyone know anything about this label. It's in a women's coat and pre-dates content or care labelling. I've attached a pic of both the coat and the label. Many thanks.

Tip Top is a Canadian firm founded in 1909 By Polish-Jewish immigrant David Dunkelman. The name for the company was chosen by a customer in a contest. Starting with one small store on Yonge Street, Tip Top Tailors became a leading Toronto-based manufacturer and retailer of menswear and women’s tailored suits and coats. David retired in 1948, leaving his son Benjamin to operate the company until 1967 when Tip Top was sold to Dylex, which in turn was sold to Grafton-Fraser in 2000, which was when the label disappeared.

I don't think it's that Tip Top. I can find no evidence they produced/sold women's clothing, and the logo is different. There is a multitude of Tip Tops in the Canadian, American, and UK trademark databases, but none that match.

THat's entirely possible. I'm not sure the label was used after 1967, so once it was dropped, another company could have picked up the name... To be perfectly honest, the coat looks like it could be really early 70s to me

Tip Top is still in business. The coat is similar to another 70s coat I have, but it should then have a content label, would most likely have a union label, and would likely have a care label. That's why I'm stumped.
