I hunted down some goodies today! Went to two estate sales and found these treasures!!

I have no idea if a collector would want this box, its empty (unfortunately) but I couldn't resist.

Two 1962 Barbies - Midge & Friend in case. Also a couple of Tammis Keefe hankies.

Okay, this is not at all in the clothing realm, but...I picked up two spools of vintage cloth covered lamp wire. People who restore lamps love this stuff! I will probably list on Ebay this weekend.

Thanks for looking!

Nice!!! I love finding stuff like the lamp cord, often a dark horse kind of item that others leave behind.

I am hopeful for the church sale I am attending tomorrow. Got a few cute things today at a senior's sale, nothing as great as your goodies though!!

That purse is darling--what a nice find at an estate sale!!! I'm not into the Barbie thing, but I imagine those are worth quite a bit! (I used to take mine outside and use them as action figures when I played cowboys & Indians in the neighborhood--thus they did not survive very intact.)

Hi Marty!
There is no felt/flocking under the hair on either doll. The one with the long hair says "Midge,1962,Barbie,1958,By Mattel INc. Patented" on the right cheek. The left cheek says "11". The one with the shorter hair says "Midge 1962,Barbie,1958,By Mattel Inc Patented" on the right cheek and "15" on the left cheek. She also has NV288 stamped on the back of her head. Both are marked Japan on the bottom of one foot (no tubing).

Here are some clickable thumbnails of the faces.

See your U2U.
