Hi everyone,

I REALLY love this one, but did I wait too long to list it? 60s right? Any ideas on kw's to make it easy for people to find? Pricing suggestions?

That's very pretty.

It all depends. someone could possibly buy it to wear it right now. And people in Australia with opposite seasons are just starting to think about fall if you allow international buyers. But a lot of people are thinking about buying for spring or Viva Las Vegas.

If it were me I would list it in my shop instead of auction, but that's just me - so its available if someone fancies it. It may or may not sell right away.

But if you are just listing it to move it and clear some space, then that is a different story

I think with the sleeveless dress and the matching jacket, it may go for the "still-winter--not yet spring" season. Warmer days and cold nights. There are still many of us with many more weeks of winter.....and, as Chris pointed out, Australia is just thinking of their fall and upcoming winter. I would give it a try on ebay...you never know. ;)

I mean I'm doing the whole, "gotta clear some space" thing, but I'd rather hold on to something until next fall, rather than see it go for less than it's worth. So hold on 'til sept?

I would either list it RIGHT NOW. or wait til August or so. People start thinking about buying the fall stuff then. It is hard to say when it will command more. It is possible it will do better if you wait. But then again, there is the other idea you must weight. If it goes slightly less now, the money will be in your pocket soon and then it will go into other items that you can sell right now. If you wait, that is storage space and money that is being tied up.

In the event if you list and it doesn't go, you'll have it for fall anyways

Very true & I appreciate your input :) The thing is, I'm sort of just selling everything I've got and then I'm done. I just find that it's getting harder and harder to sell those high priced items (especially when I see what I think are SUPER fab dress for BIN's of $14.99). I don't get my vintage dirt cheap or by the lb, so alot goes into selling each item. Soooooooooo...... I just want to clear it out, and get what I can. After that - everything goes including the manniquin!
So, I think I'll do a BIN that's high, and if it doesn't get that, store the pics and relist in the fall. Good thing for me, my closet doesn't charge much for storage.

Hee hee (on the closet!)

Ebay really is a buyers market for the most part unless you are a super duper marketer of yourself vs just relying on "listing and it will sell". Also, paying attention to what is going on like Viva Las Vegas coming up, or say the Gatsby picnics, or V-day, etc. and trying to pick things to list that are very timely.

Have you considered selling somewhere other than ebay? or is selling vintage sort of just a side thing you want to do when the mood and the situation presents itself? I have a mall shop that is my bread and butter, and I only sell on ebay in a blue moon. That way i don't have to worry if the right person is searching for what i am selling on the day the auction ends
