Town & Resort Label

I just bought a tulle halter dress with a label that says Town & Resort, Hollywood Florida. I can't seem to find anything online. Has anyone seen this label before? The dress has a metal Talon zipper.

Gorgeous dress, sorry I don't know the label. Has it been shortened though? I can see this being full length originally.
 
I don't think it's been cut off. This was one estate sale where I wasn't in line 2 hours prior to opening. I can't believe this beauty was still there. It was at the home of a very renowned restaurateur in our city. I also got another dress that had a note on it that it was worn at the couple's engagement party in 1949. I won't have to figure out the date on that on! LOL!

Can't help with the label, but I suspect it might have been a privately labeled item for a high-end clothing shop in Hollywood, perhaps with its own brand (as opposed to the name of the store).

Or, I wonder if this label may have been affiliated in some way with the "Town & Country" label. It seems a parallel designation.
 
I used to have an account with ancestry, but it is pretty expensive. I think I can go to the library and access it for free there.
