Traina Boutique Knit Dress - ILGWU but what does BCHM mean? Also what fabric please?

Hi Everyone!

I nearly passed on this dress at an estate sale because of a multitude of stains. All but one faint stain came out in a cold water Woolite soak/wash. It's obviously a knit but no content tag. Can anyone tell the fabric from the photos? Also, it has a union tag with the letters BCHM. What do they mean?

As always your help is deeply appreciated!

Mia

I believe that's a version of the Teal Traina Label. I don't know what BCHM means, but that's the 1963 - 1974 ILGWU Label. Traina closed in 1978. So I'd put this in the early 70s - it's not a 1960s skirt length at all.

Thank you so much Hollis, Nicole, Barbara & Maggie!
No, I didn't do the burn test but I clearly see now that it's 70s!
Thank you, Ladies.
