Trash the Dress ?

I do flowers for a number of weddings and today one of the mothers-in-law was telling me about her DIL's intention to "trash the dress." Am I the only one who has never heard of THIS TREND ? :clueless: I am so old....

I'd not heard of this before either. It strikes me as very wasteful and silly.

Had a friend dye her wedding dress black for a divorce party.....but yeah, that trash the dress thing is at least a few years old. There are sites devoted to shots of brides jumping into lakes, etc. Lame, but so are the modern mass produced dresses.

I remember my dad throwing my moms weddin g dress in a dumpster after the divorce I thoughtbitbfunny.


I could not trash mine... I had it custome made for me... So it really does not look like wedding dress

Never heard of this before - seems a bit silly. Especially considering what a wedding dress costs...
