Tricosa??

Someone here had something from Tricosa (made in paris, france and dryclean only in french and english to jog any memory) at one time, but I am drawing a blank right now. maybe it was Lin? When i do a search, two threads come up, but i can't seem to see the reference (i could be going blind).

Has anyone ever unearthed any info?

I have a particualrly sparkly top from Tricosa. I just have to wait til daylight to attempt any further photos because i can't really do it justice otherwise. I believe it to be lurex and it has the most interesting pattern to it.

(you know the old story- fit:keep doesn't:won't :) )

(okay, i will stop talking...i will cough up some pictures!)

thanks for letting me "think aloud".

Yup, it was me - Tricosa, Paris - cute dresses, late 60s-70s... I know nuffink apart from that I'm afraid... They were stocked in nice dept stores, and when I bought a couple, they came from a group including some other nice-ish boutique-y items.

on the other hand tricot/tricosa is annoyingly generic, and therefore difficult to find anything on...

sounds cool - pic?

Bad, bad picture. It is dark, stormy, and I have no good light right now. I am going to take the manni (at least the top half of her on a stool) outside when it lets up to perhaps get some better light. The problem is capturing the sparkle of this top. You can't really tell in this picture...it just looks like white speckles.

I am going to try and wrestle with it a little in a little while too to get a picture with better lighting.

That's a good term for it...mosaic. Not quite op art. not paisley, but it has that "dense detail" feel of a paisley.

Too bad it doesn't suit me, i would have no trouble keeping it :)

Any suggestions on photographing lurex? i just can't seem to get it right. I may just have to do with the photo i have but just fix one part of the background
