Trifari earrings - a modern re-issue?

My best pal has asked me to sell some costume jewelery for her on Etsy. What started as a shop for my collage art and a few vintage items is becoming a vintage shop with some collage art added for variety . Can you tell we've both been cleaning out our closets?

She's usually pretty good with jewelery, but has been wondering about these Trifari earrings. Well, me too. I've seen similar designs listed as 60s, but with different findings and signatures. Overall, they look extremely new to me. The Signature reads Trifari TM - that too I think is quite modern? So my guess was this is a classic design they re-issued - or just kept producing through the decades?

I would like to hear your opinions... if they're too new, I can't put them on Etsy of course.

Some more information to consider on the marking is the Trifari tm appears to be on a raised platform. This type of marking appears to have been seen in the 1980's and on the Home Shopping Network. This information came from http://www.illusionjewels.com/costumejewelrymarkst.html

Thanks, Maxine! Ah, I had that Illusionjewels link somewhere once, but lost it. The signature is not on a raised platform, but it has the TM and the writing looks similar. I just saw that it says that they re-issued some designs in'96 but with an added date - which mine don't have. Still, the TM behind the signature seems to be a fairly modern feature...
