Trigere Happy

A number of years ago I attended and bought from an estate sale in a big old house completely stuffed with designer clothing--and it was wonderful. As my collecting passion is for clothing MUCH older than that 60s-80s clothing, I couldn't even translate the many labels that I found out later said Pauline Trigere.

One of the dresses with the Trigere label was this one:

and as I thought this dress didn't look much like the other Trigere dresses I bought, I posted a question about it on eBay's vintage clothing forum. A kind soul directed me to this Kent State site and specifically to the Resort 1971 illustrations, where she found:

So, for any of you who have, collect, or are interested in Trigere, I thought you might like to have the Kent State site in your favorites, too.

Love the dress!

And Kent State has a wonderful site to go along with a great museum. It's a great resource.

Thank you all for the kind comments about the dress...and thanks to Maggie for chuckling at my poor attempt at humor.

I didn't want to be doing a Show and Tell, but...here is one other Trigere dress from there that I thought was nicer than much of what came from the collection at that estate sale. Unfortunately I didn't find it in the KSU archives of illustrations. The neck strap and bow are rhinestones.
