Trying to get some information on a bag -no stamp or tag

Hi

Is there anyone who has seen a similar bag? It doesn't have any tags or stamps. All I know that is that it's old. It was my grandma's and she owned it before I was born so it must be pre 1990.

The type of soft, squishy, extra fabric on the handle was a thing in the 80s and 90s. Although, I have seen "Claire's" bring it back recently. I don't think this is older than 80s. If there are marking on the clasp, that might help. Also, what is the fabric of the lining made of? Lining really make a difference in aging, as synthetic materials have evolved so much in the last 80s years. And, natural fiber linings could indicate higher end or older. If the lining has a foam between it and the leather, the deterioration of the foam would indicate the age, too. I am assuming the bag is leather - it looks leather. The handle might not be, though - that has a different grain to it.
