Tula Peignoir Set

HERE is an auction for a 1940's ad for Tula, by Sam Landau, on Madison Ave in NY. HERE is a 1947 ad for Sam Landau's Tula gown.
And HERE is a 1998 obit for Landau. Another 1998 obit for Landau added that: "Samuel Landau, 95, of Cedar Avenue, owner of Tula Manufacturing Co., New York City, for more than 40 years, died Wednesday at home. Mr. Landau was born in Leeds, England, and came (to Florida) in 1992."
Tula, Inc. appears on Madison Ave in THIS clip from the 1958 NY Industrial Directory.
I also found 1926 naturalization papers for Landau, and a 1940 NYC directory had a listing for "Saml Landau Corp, 105 Madison, underwear."

As for the age of your beautiful set:
Your label is the same as one in a 1946 set that I have in my collection (mine is hand-painted with circus performers and a 1946 ad was found by a helpful member here advertising the set so dating is definite).

Lingerie styles could be slow to change with the times and are, for me, difficult to date without handling the item. I'm putting in a vote for 40s/50s on your set. Hopefully, some more knowledgeable people than myself will chime in!

Thank you so much for the information you have provided it certainly adds more of a picture to the item. I was thinking the set was from the 1940s but was unsure, as my label is the same as yours The Vintage Vendesuse I think you are right.
