The amazing hats worn by a number of attendees of the royal wedding caused quite a stir... with comments and opinions running full spectrum. It got me to thinking about the long history of fantasy styled headwear, which goes WAY back... hundreds of years. I was contemplating writing a blog on the subject and started to look for inspiration when I came across THIS VIDEO from the mid fifties on Spanish influenced hairstyles by a very young Vidal Sassoon. The hairstyles are lovely but the headwear is such fun! Enjoy!
