Two Hats : Tress & Co and Lord

Very excited to be a part of this forum group. I've been a vintage fashion collector for a long time (1920s-1960s) but am just starting to get enthusiastic and motivated to be more knowledgeable in the history and craftsmanship of my pieces. With that said, I'd like to start dating my hats! A lot of the hats in my collection are either without labels, tags, or other discerning features, so I will start with these two.

A brown bowler hat, size 7, stamped M S G in dots on the inside leather sweatband, and labeled Tress & London Co on the satin lining.

A black fedora style hat with satin and "crinkly" lining, stamped "Feiner Haarhut" on the inside leather sweatband with "F" and "R" buttons, and labeled Lord in the lining.

Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forums. I don't know much about hats, and even less about men's hats, but, can you please show bigger photos of the insides/labels so that they are readable - that may be helpful for dating these? I'm sure some of our members who are knowledgeable about hats will be around soon.
Feiner Haarhut is German as you may already have found out - so that points to either German manufacture, or it being made for the German market - or Austria or Switzerland :). I am not very familiar with hat materials either, but from what I've been able to find out is that it is apparently a kind of felt made from rabbit hair/fur.
